Open DofE Gold Award Practise and Open DofE Qualifying Expeditions
If you have missed your DofE practice or DofE qualifying expedition, through illness, holiday, trip or exam clashes, then Badger Adventures will be running OPEN expeditions on the dates shown.
Badger Adventures can cater for groups or individuals.
Location
The Open practice DofE expeditions will be delivered in either the Lake District or Yorkshire Dales, in some of the countries most beautiful scenery. Open DofE Qualifying will be in the Lake District.
Transport - for The Lake District - Keswick area.
Avanti Train to Penrith.
X4 X5 bus to Whitehaven , getting off at Booths Bus station in Keswick
Itinerary for Qualifying Expedition

| 1 | Arrive at Start location - A full kit check/food check when you arrive. If you have forgotten anything, then there will be time to pop into Keswick to find a replacement. (nb. You need to arrive with all your food for the expedition) |
| 2 | Walk out on the hills for a skills brush up, and to become fully acquainted with Badger Adventure emergency procedures. Then back to the YHA for lunch and to plan the routes to be submitted to the board. |
| 3/4/5/6 | The participants will execute their routes that they have planned, with the instructor remotely supervising the groups. At the end of the expedition walk to the finish point, clean and hand group kit back in, then a well-earned rest and a debrief around 16.00 hours, followed by your departure for home. Please make sure that all your public transport links are available if you are leaving straight after the expedition.) |
